Stampin’ Up! Supplies:

·         PAPER – Basic Black Cardstock (121045), Cute Halloween Designer Series Paper (DSP) (156479)

·         OTHER –Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755), Paper Snips (103579), Paper Trimmer (152392), Simply Scored Scoring Tool (103570), Bone Folder (102300)

         

Cutting & Scoring: 

·         Basic Black Cardstock 6-1/2” x 8-1/2”, score long side at 1/2”, 2”, and 7-1/2”, score short side at 1/2”, 2”, 3-1/2” and 5”

·         DSP 4 @ 1-1/4” x 5-1/4”

 

 

Instructions :

·         Score and burnish all score lines.

·         The short side with ½ inch score line is the top of the box.  The top fold over flap is the side of the box opposite the ½” score. 

·         Cut off the ½” scored two sections at the top.  Cut off the three 1/2” sections closest to the ½” scored side. 

·         Cut from the top, down to the first score line, the remaining top sections. 

·         Moving from the top fold over flap, the next flap over cut off top portion of this flap.  Moving over one more flap, cut off the entire flap, moving over one more flap cut off the top portion of this flap.

·         Rotate to the bottom of the box, remove the ½” section up to the first score line.  Cut the remaining sections up to the first score line.

·         Apply adhesive to side ½” flap and fold over box edge to create sides.  Fold up and over bottom of the box, careful that the last fold is adhered toward the ½ inch side score.

·         Apply DSP to sides.  This will create the bottom of the box.

Cutting & Scoring: 

·         Pool Party Cardstock 10-1/2” x 11”, score long side at 2-5/8”, 5-1/4”, 7-7/8 and 10-1/2”, score short side at 1/2” and 8-1/2

·         Pool Party Cardstock 5-3/4” x 5-3/4”, score all sides at 1/2” and 1-1/2”

·         Pool Party 2-1/2” x 2-1/2” box bottom

·         DSP 4 @ 2-3/8” x 7-3/4”, 2-3/8” x 2-3/8” Lid

·         Cherry Cobbler Mats 4@ 2-1/2” x 7-7/8

·         Cherry Cobbler 2-1/2” x 2-1/2” Lid Mat

 

 

Instructions :

·         Starting with the larger piece, score and burnish all score lines.

·         The long side with ½ inch score line is the top of the box.  Cut at an angle on each score line, fold over and tape to inside of the box.

·         Rotate the larger piece 180 degrees.  Remove the ½ inch section from the bottom of the box, cutting up to the first score line.  Cut remaining score lines up to first score line.  This will create the bottom of the box.

·         Fold in sides and tape bottom of the box, matching final fold to the back of the box where seams join.

·         Layer DSP on cardstock mats, adhere to sides of the box.

·         For the lid, score on each score line.  The lid will have a rolled edge.  Cut and remove the two outside squares from each side.  Angle outer edge. 

·         Cut and angle square at each corner, rotate after each cut to next corner. 

·         Apply tear tape to outside sections, gather and fold in one corner.  Rotate piece and do the same for each of the remaining corners.

·         Punch hole thru lid on opposite sides. 

·         Enjoy!

Cutting & Scoring: 

·         Basic White Thick Cardstock 9-3/4” x 6-3/4”, score long side at 1-1/2”, 6-3/4” and 8-1/4”, score short side at 1-1/2” and 5-1/4

·         Basic White Thick Cardstock 6-3/4” x 6-3/4”, score three sides at 1-1/2”

·         DSP 3-1/2” x 5”, 3-1/2” x 1-1/4”

 

 

Instructions :

·         Starting with the larger piece, score and burnish all score lines.

·         The short side with only one score line is the bottom of the box, cut up the two sides to the first score line.

·         Rotate the larger piece 180 degrees, at the top of the larger piece, cut off the two outside squares.  Cut along the second square score line, coming from the side of the box, cut to the score line.

·         Rotate back 180 degrees to the bottom of the box and glue the two outside squares to the bottom flap, pulling the squares to the inside of the box.

·         Moving to the smaller piece, score and burnish all score lines.

·         The top of the box has no score line.  Start at the bottom of the box, cut the outside two sides to the first score line.  Glue the two outside squares to the bottom flap, pulling the squares to the inside of the box. 

·         Glue the smaller piece around the outside of the larger piece.

·         Decorate the front with DSP.   Add ribbon to secure the top flap.

Easy Versatile Layout

Hello, so happy you have stopped by for some inspiration.   The layout today is quick, cute and so versatile.  I've got a couple samples below with a shopping list to complete the card below.   Hope you enjoy, and stop back again soon.  


Measure of Love

Dimensions:

5-1/2" x 8-1/2" Card base (Pale Papaya)
3-1/4" Square Cardstock (Granny Apple Green)
2" x 4-1/2" Designer Series Paper
3" Circle

  1. Fold card base at 4-1/4" on long side.  Adhere Granny Apple Green cardstock square on left side of card base, add piece of DSP.
  2. Die cut largest circle from Layering Circle dies.  Using Pool Party ink, stamp the small oval from the Watercolor Shapes stamp set at the bottom.  Adhere to card front as shown.
  3. Using Basic Gray ink, stamp scale image on scrap of Basic White cardstock.  I added some Light Pool Party blends to the edges. Fussy cut out.  Add to the circle using Stampin' Dimensionals.
  4. Stamp the flower image on a scrap of Basic White using Pale Papaya ink; leaves with Granny Apple Green.  Die cut using smallest layering circle.  Add to front of scales with Stampin' Dimensional. 
  5. Stamp bowl image using Pale Papaya for the edge of the bowl, and once stamped off Pale Papaya for the inside. Fussy Cut and add using Stampin' Dimensionals. 
  6. Stamp sentiment using Basic Gray on 1/2 inch strip of Basic White.  Adhere to front.
  7. Add Genial Gems.   Enjoy!

Measure of Love Gift Card Holder

Welcome everyone!   So glad you have found my blog.   Today I will be sharing a super quick gift card holder, featuring the Measure of Love stamp set from the Annual Catalog.   Find complete step by step instructions below, and a complete supply list with a link to my online store.   Hope you enjoy, and stop back by again real soon for more inspiration. 


Measure of Love

4-1/4" x 10-1/4"  Flirty Flamingo card base, scored at 5-1/2" and 8-1/4"
2-1/2" x 4" Poppy Parade
2-1/4" x 3-3/4" Designer Series Paper (DSP)
4" x 5-1/4" Basic White for inside

1.  Fold card base at 5-1/2" to create center fold.  Fold the 8-1/4" score line back under to create a pocket.  Adhere with multipurpose glue very close to edges.  See Figure  3.
2.  Layer the DSP layer on top of Poppy Parade layer.   Adhere to front of card.
3.  Cut second to largest layer circle from Basic White.  Cut second to largest scalloped circle from Flirty Flamingo.

4.  Stamp scale image on scrap of Basic White using Basic Gray ink. Add dial image using Poppy Parade ink.  Cut out image.
5. On a scrap of Basic White, stamp bowl outline with Pool Party ink.  Stamp inside of bowl in Pool Party, stamped off once.  Add hearts using Poppy Parade.  Cut out image.
6.  Stamp shadow layer using Pool Party and Watercolor Shapes stamp on Basic White circle at bottom.  Add scales and bowl using Stampin' Dimensionals.
7.  Add scalloped focal image to front of the card, adhering ONLY the left side using Stampin' Dimensionals.

8.  For inside of card, stamp bowl in Pool Party, as noted above.  Add cherries using Poppy Parade, and stems using Granny Apple Green.   
9.  Add sentiment as shown, using Poppy Parade.   Mask the sentiment stamp and ink up "measure up" first and stamp.   Clean sentiment stamp, and then ink up and add "you".  Photopolymer stamps are great, you can see thru to align. 
10.  Adhere inside layer to the card base.  Enjoy!!!

Sweet as a Peach

Hello my stamping friends!  Today's card is using the Sweet as a Peach Bundle from the annual catalog.   What says summer more that sweet juicy peaches?   Yummy!  I hope you are inspired to create some of this deliciousness.


Sweet as a Peach


Dimensions:
11" x 4-1/4" Card base (scored at 5-1/2)
4" x 5-1/4" Basic White
2" x 4" Designer Series Paper

1.  Cut second largest die from Scalloped Contours dies.
2.  Stamp leaf image twice using Pear Pizzazz as shown.  Add the sentiment. 
3.  Stamp peach image twice on scrap of Basic White cardstock.  I used Pale Papaya as the base color, and added Calypso Coral to the edges of each peach with a sponge dauber. 
4.  Die cut peaches, and small flower images.
5.  Emboss Basic White layer, using the Tasteful Textile die.
6.  Add the DSP to the embossed layer, and wrap with white bakers twine.
7.  Adhere peaches to the front using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.
8.  Adhere focal piece using Stampin' Dimensionals.
9.  Tie a double bow with white bakers twine.
10. Adhere small flowers.  I used multi-purpose glue.   Enjoy!
