He's The Man, meets For The Guys

For the guy in your life that needs a note expressing how much we appreciate all the little things or the big things they do for us every day.   Today's card is combination of great masculine sets, kits and dies.  He's the Man combined with the woodgrain and banner element from For the Guys Kit with the guitar from the Rugged Iconic Dies.   A quick fun layout for manly card inspiration!


Stampin' Up!

Instruction:
1.  Cut a piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) 4"x3".  Adhere to bottom of 4"x 5-1/4" Early Espresso cardstock.  Cut banner element from For the Guys Kit in half.  Adhere as shown.  
2.  Wrap Crumb Cake Bakers twine around layer.  Tie knot or bow.  Adhere layer to Early Espresso card base.
3.  Die cut All That dies for sentiment and diamond / argyle elements.  Die cut guitar from Rugged Icons dies.
4.  Cut woodgrain piece from Kit elements.  Adhere guitar.  Adhere to card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.
5.  Stamp sentiment adhere with Stampin' Dimensionals.  Add diamond elements as shown.
6.  Add Rustic Metallic dots.  Enjoy!

For The Guys Alternative, Thank You

Everyone needs Thank You cards, right?  Today's version is another fun alternative layout created using pieces from the For The Guys card kit.  You are not limited to the two design layouts in this kit.  Don't be afraid to cut up the pieces.  I used the "lake" laser cut piece to die cut the branches and the embossed background is 1/2 of a card base.  See all the details and a video tutorial below.  Enjoy! 


Stampin' Up!
Instructions:
1.  Cut one of the card bases from the For The Guys Kit to 5-1/4"x4", emboss with Tree Rings Hybrid embossing folder.  Spritz embossed layer with Dark Soft Succulent Stampin' Blend.  Adhere embossed layer to Mint Macaron card base.
2.  Die cut tree ring from Sahara Sand cardstock.  Sponge edges using Sahara Sand ink.
3.  Die cut branches from Mint Macaron "lake" laser cut Kit piece.  Die cut acorns using Soft Seafoam cardstock and Mossy Meadow cardstock for the tops.
4.  Die cut Stylish Shape banner, and stamp sentiment.  Thank You in Mint Macaron, and For All You Do in Mint Macaron stamped off one time.
5.  Layer Tree Ring with Stampin' Dimensionals.  Add branches and acorns as shown.
6.  Using Tear Tape, loop ribbon and attach to back of banner.  Adhere banner using Stampin' Dimensionals as shown.
7.  Add Elegant Faceted gems.   Enjoy!

Sweetest Cherries

 The Sweetest Cherries Bundle is a great little combo for creating super cute cards.   The cherry images speak summer.  Pair them with another bright cheery colors, like Tahitian Tide and Parakeet Party.  The background was created using the Artistic Mix Decorative Masks and blending brushes.


Sweetest Cherries

Measurements:
8-1/2"x5-1/2" Card base
5"x3-3/4" Basic White
1"x4" Crumb Cake

Instructions:
  • Die cut scallop border from Tahitian Tide cardstock.  Punch out circle.
  • Using blending brush, apply Tahitian Tide ink to Basic White Layer.
  • Stamp and punch out cherries, using Sweet Sorbet ink.  Stamp and punch out leaves and stems using Parakeet Party ink.
  • Stamp sentiment in Sweet Sorbet.  Adhere cherries and leaves using Stampin' Dimentionals.
  • Layer scallop and Crumb Cake layer to Basic White background piece.
  • Using Stampin' Dimentionals, add circle focal image.
  • Add bow made from linen thread.

Sweet as a Peach

Hello my stamping friends!  Today's card is using the Sweet as a Peach Bundle from the annual catalog.   What says summer more that sweet juicy peaches?   Yummy!  I hope you are inspired to create some of this deliciousness.


Sweet as a Peach


Dimensions:
11" x 4-1/4" Card base (scored at 5-1/2)
4" x 5-1/4" Basic White
2" x 4" Designer Series Paper

1.  Cut second largest die from Scalloped Contours dies.
2.  Stamp leaf image twice using Pear Pizzazz as shown.  Add the sentiment. 
3.  Stamp peach image twice on scrap of Basic White cardstock.  I used Pale Papaya as the base color, and added Calypso Coral to the edges of each peach with a sponge dauber. 
4.  Die cut peaches, and small flower images.
5.  Emboss Basic White layer, using the Tasteful Textile die.
6.  Add the DSP to the embossed layer, and wrap with white bakers twine.
7.  Adhere peaches to the front using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.
8.  Adhere focal piece using Stampin' Dimensionals.
9.  Tie a double bow with white bakers twine.
10. Adhere small flowers.  I used multi-purpose glue.   Enjoy!
