Sugar Creek Stamping

Welcome to Sugar Creek Stamping, I'm so excited you are here. My Triple Play Thursday features one layout, with three different looks, using one stamp set or bundle. Today I'm featuring the Zany Zebra Stamp Set. How cute are these guys?

The layout today is easy, a couple layers add some embossing, and Dimensionals. Pick colors that you like. I'm excited about the new in-colors, so Magenta Madness had to be featured on one card (Happy Birthday).
Black and white version is super cute.

I'll step you through making your the fun background piece.
The first layer starts with 2 pieces of 5 1/4 X 4 inch pieces of cardstock, one black and one white. I took my paper snips and free hand cut stripes from the white piece. I then used multipurpose glue to adhere the strips to the solid black piece.

I then used the Old World embossing folder, as the final step, and Ta-Da... zebra fur, well kinda!

The vellum layer is 2 3/8 X 3 1/2, the die cut is from the Hippo bundle, or use a 2 1/2 inch circle die. The sentiment is stamped on a 3/4 x 3 inch strip of white card stock. Add faceted gems to finish up the card. Super easy and so very cute!

The Happy Birthday card uses the same dimensions, but for the first layer I used one of the dies from the Ornate Layers dies (152726), then cut a piece of Magenta Madness In-Color printed paper to complete the 5 1/4 X 4 layer.

The Kick Up Your Heels zebra is my favorite image. How fun is that! Bucking, jumping or running. Coastal Cabana from the Brights printed paper completes the first layer. I used pieces of 5 1/4 X 2 inches for the first layer, the wood grain and fabric looking design. I then used the Birch (149256) background stamp on the black & white piece.
